The Last Brazen Kitchen Cooking Demo of the Year at Farmers @ the Firehouse

Hello everyone! Join me this Saturday, September 15th at Slow Food Pittsburgh‘s Farmers @ the Firehouse for my last cooking demo for the year (taking a demo hiatus for the rest of the year as I take care of my newest “project” :) I love cooking at the Firehouse — we use ingredients that are in season and can be found at the Firehouse that day! Definitely continuing the Buy Fresh, Buy Local Challenge during Local Food Month!

We will be doing a “Cusp of Summer and Fall” demo with a Panzanella (Tuscan Bread Salad featured in this week’s Pittsburgh Magazine post) and Curry 101 (a yummy and easy way to use up harvest veggies). I’ll be under the tent at 10 am and will be there til noon!

Hope to see you there! Bring your cooking and healthy eating questions, I’m always happy to answer them!

I just came across your blog and am enjoying the reading. This post has me looking forward to the return of the Farmers Markets – and the warm weather! :)
